We believe housing is a human right and fight for the rights of low and middle income tenants.
We represent tenants who have been wrongfully evicted; subjected to substandard conditions such as lack of heat, rodents, toxic mold, defective electricity, unsafe stairs and other hazards; displaced by fires caused by housing defects; rented illegal units; locked out; harassed or abused by landlords; discriminated against; whose security deposits have been illegally withheld or who have been overcharged rent. We represent individual tenants as well as groups of tenants in apartment buildings. We are passionate about preserving affordable housing and are long time members of the San Francisco Tenant Bar. We never represent landlords.
